Our September meeting of the Inland Northwest Writers' Guild will be held, as usual, on the 3rd Wednesday of the month - September 19, 2018 - 5:30 to 7:30.
Parking lot is free!
Food may be ordered at your leisure. Anything from a full meal to coffee or a dessert is okay (or just water if you need to go that route).
5:30 to 6 - book discussion; we will talk about chapters 34 to 38 of Pep Talks for Writers
6-7 (ish) - guest speaker
We have a treat for anyone thinking of submitting one or more articles to the North Columbia Monthly (the magazine I hand out each month). Our guest speaker is Gabriel Cruden - Publisher & Senior Editor of the NCMonthly - who will be coming all the way from Colville to share his wisdom with us. Come expecting to learn what Gabriel is seeking in submissions for his publication and be prepared with your questions.
7-? - voluntary critique session - those will to critique are invited to stick around if there is a candidate for your "assistance" - if you wish a critique of your writing, bring at least 2 copies of your writing - 3-4 pages double-spaced should suffice, or thereabouts
