Today I had planned a day of going to a horse event with my kids. Instead we set out to go look at possible horse for Lilly to replace our beloved Zip. Before we got there we decided that this was not the horse for her and we visited my new place of work instead; then went to McDonalds for lunch. It was a fun but not so successful day. On the way home we stopped at Hobby Lobby to buy beads for Elizabeth to make necklaces with. I really enjoyed this day with my kids.

Today I went to my second ever writing meeting at Auntie’s Book Store. I felt like I have always belonged to this group simply because of the connections and friendships I have made this last month. Tonight was amazing; there were so many new people with new ideas, projects, and connections to share. I truly enjoyed every minute of this meeting and look forward to many more.

OK I am seeking all opinions ~
In writing historical fiction is it ok to go with a myth of a story even if it doesn't match up with the historical facts? I am stuck in my research and just want to start the story. The problem is that this story I have heard does not line up with the facts I have heard.

Well I went to my first INWG meeting here in Spokane. It was not all I thought it would be. They were trying something different but it was not my speed. I have never been fond of impromptu writing. Sometimes, however, impromptu writing can be inspirational. I have created some of my most powerful pieces from a prompt, but I am not so good with time limits. I would suggest one writing prompt per meeting with the whole meeting to work on the piece then share, but that would surely take…Continue
