"Hi, I like writing poetry and short stories. What I write tends to lean toward the horror/thriller side of things, but I try to keep it character driven. I'm working on a comedic short story right now, so we'll see how that goes. How about…"

Hi, Christine! sorry this took so long - I did not know anyone could find the site to join. I'm not conversant in Nanowrimo but I believe it is simply intended to get you to complete a novel draft in one month. I guess people try for about 50,000 words but perhaps I can let someone know you are looking and we can contact you later unless you make it to tonight's meeting. if so, do ask the group! Linda

Hi, Cherise - did you ever get into the NaNoWriMo process? If so, how did you do?

I got started. I can't say much more than that. It's something I would like to try again, but I kept getting off track.

I write a lot of YA because i don't feel that there is enough YA books out there that have strong female characters and that have wit in them. I am slowly converting twilight fans to prophecy one person at a time and i couldn't be happier about it! I have a call with an agent tomorrow morning. They want to rep my work possibly. (fingers crossed)
