By and For Inland NW Writers
INWG will meet at 6:30 on Wednesday, 5/16. We will have a special program featuring Terry Hughes (author) and his description of this program follows:
An interactive seminar for writers of all genres, hosted by Terry Hughes, is conducting its inaugural event on the evening of Wednesday, May 16 from 6:30 until 8:00 P.M. at Auntie’s Bookstore, 401 East Main. The scope of discussion will be how writing interacts with other arts in the vision of creativity. We will examine how writing, music, painting, sculpting, acting and music intertwine and guide society and culture into a future vision.
There will be a dialogue about the strategy and craft of writing a cover letter, and how to target your agent or editor. Attendees are welcome to bring their previous cover letters to the seminar, and let the rest of us review your work.
I'm not sure how we'll be on time, so the latter project may have to float over into our next meeting. But LET'S TRY!!!
